SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT
Bring your positive attitude and computer skills to this great opportunity supporting Re-Source York (RSY), a York-based nonprofit selling donated home improvement items to the public, keeping usable materials out of landfills.You will photograph donated items, and then upload and edit those pictures to create and post engaging ads on Craigslist to sell RSY inventory in the furniture and construction material sections. This 12-hour per week position will require spending time in both RSY locations in York, reporting directly to the executive director.
The ideal candidate will understand and believe in the value of social and environmental responsibility on a personal and community level. Volunteer must be capable of interacting pleasantly and professionally with store staff, volunteers, and customers. An ability to plan work, stay on task and meet timelines in a self-motivated manner is crucial. Applicants should have top-notch written communication skills, possess proficiency with picture taking, and have a working knowledge of buying and selling on Craigslist. Current college students, recent graduates, and other adults with experience in communications, marketing, sales and/or related fields are encouraged to apply for the position.

Help us spread the good word about Re-Source York by sharing your time and talent to create and post dynamic content for the RSY Facebook page and RSY web site, including updating weekly specials, photographing and promoting inventory, featuring customer projects, researching related topics, and more.
Must be capable of interacting pleasantly and professionally with store staff, volunteers, and customers. An ability to plan work, stay on task and meet timelines in a self-motivated manner is crucial. Applicants must have top-notch writing/reporting skills.
